This about sums it up for me...

What Obama does best

Published: Sunday, June 20, 2010 at 6:01 a.m.
For 18 months, I have been trying to figure out what Obama does best.
After all, he is the leader of our nation; surely he should have intelligence and an ability to lead; where are those qualities?
But what is he truly good at?
After grimacing through the pathetic Oval Office speech, I came to a few conclusions. Well, for starters, he is the best liar who has ever held the office of president — an accomplishment given the likes of Nixon and Clinton.
He is the best bully and finger pointer that we have ever seen in the White House. He is the best at appointing one useless idiot after another to his administration and cabinet.
He is the best teleprompter reader of all time. He is great at giving the country a daily dose of a lethal economic injection. He also excels in tearing down the proud history of our country by apologizing to everyone for our past behavior.
As I listened to him say that we have run out of places to drill and that is why we drill in 5,000 feet of water, I realized that the speech was a total farce.
We have “run out of places to drill” because environmentalists, their lobbyists and a weak Congress have not allowed us to drill in many land and shallow-water areas that are more easily accessible.
He blatantly lied about that point as well.
While there are still many of you who are waking up each day with the Obama-induced hangover, many of us — thankfully — are not. We want to save our way of life in south Louisiana. We want to save the oil and seafood industries. We want to see our friends in those industries, as well as the related industries, remain employed. We want to save the economy of our region and the country. We want our children and grandchildren to enjoy the wonderful country as we have had the pleasure of doing ... at least prior to Jan. 20, 2009. The Obama worshippers apparently do not want any of the above mentioned things.
Why not consider moving to some “wonderful” place — maybe liberal California — and get out of the way so that the rest of us have a chance to salvage what we have here, despite Obama.
Yes, BP has caused us grief as a result of the disaster.
It just as easily could have been Exxon or Shell.
Maybe at the end of the day, an investigation might implicate another party in addition to BP.
BP is pumping billions into the disaster and has agreed to pay billions more to those financially affected or destroyed because of the disaster.
To think that BP will now put $20 billion into an escrow account to be doled out as some of Obama’s inept cronies determine is ludicrous.
The “conference” with BP was just another stage for Obama and his Chicago thug political mentality.
Obama will eventually force BP into bankruptcy, and those affected may never get compensation for their losses.
I guess Obama will blame that on Bush as well.
This nation is in an economic crisis, and this part of the world is facing an unthinkable crisis.
Obama can yell, point his finger and deliver his “speech” showing zero emotion as he did in his pathetic address.
His credibility, even among many of his previously staunch supporters, is fading fast. History will prove that he is a destructive president, not a constructive president. Pray for God to help this region and this country because Obama and Congress are certainly not.

GO JAN GO!!!

Talk to Al Jazeera - Charles Bolden

HOW can this be the top 3 things that we ask from NASA? I think it is so wrong - we need to be concentrating on Space Exploration. Wake up people and see what is happening.

Cool make-up

I was looking for something that made my skin less splotchy, and one of my friends told me to try some tinted moisturizer. SO, I went on a quest for it and considering I don't like to shop - my two top  places: Target and Wal-Mart. I found it at Wal-Mart for $8 and I LOVE IT!! It is made by Hard Candy and it feels so silky smooth. This product actually makes me feel like wearing make-up everyday. I had to share this magnificent find - now I need to stock up.

I purchased this one, but I haven't tried it out. I was so impressed with the previous purchase, I am sure that this one will work out too.

I will probably try some of their other products. I will let you know how they turn out. Let me know too.
