Size-WiseEnjoy these bite-size treats with built-in portion control. One cookie ball pop per serving goes a long way on flavor. How to Melt ChocolatePlace unwrapped chocolate squares in microwaveable bowl. Microwave on HIGH 2 min. or until chocolate is completely melted, stirring every 30 sec.How to Easily Dip BallsTo easily coat balls with the melted chocolate, add balls, in batches, to bowl of melted chocolate. Use 2 forks to roll balls in chocolate until evenly coated. Remove balls with forks, letting excess chocolate drip back into bowl. Place balls in prepared pan; let stand until firm.rating
I made something very similar to this recipe using Golden Oreos. I made the balls and decorated them w/red and green sugar then w/ red and green sprinkles. Took them to Christmas Bunco and all the ladies wanted to know what bakery I purchased the treats from!!! These are that good and easy to make also. Next year I will make this recipe using the mint Oreos and make the tree pops. This is a cute idea to have a treat on a stick. Wish I'd thought of it. For presentation you could use a Christmas basket or ceramic bowl filled w/a piece of syrofoam covered in shredded basket fill to stick the sticks into. I've got a ceramic elf shoe(w/ jingle bells of course!!) that I will use next year when I make these. You could also make these in blue and white w/silver edible balls for Hanukkah. Easter time w/little edible candy decorations too. This recipe has alot of possibilities.
